Charmie Jhaveri - Founder of GoPositive - Qualified and Certified Tarot Card Reader, Numerologist and Graphologist from Kobe, Japan

Q1. How did your career journey start? Or Who/What inspired you to start this business/ entrepreneurship?

I, Charmie Jhaveri was born and brought up in South Mumbai, India and presently living in Kobe, Japan from the past 15 years. My journey in the spiritual world started just by chance. There was a point in my life where I found myself lost, clueless and helpless. So I decided to take help from a Tarot card reader. I was surprised by the accuracy of the reading , hence decided to learn the Art/Science of Tarot Card Reading for myself. I wanted to help many people like me who needed guidance for a better life. I initially started practicing Tarot Reading and other modalities for my family & friends and I received many positive feedbacks. My husband believed in my work and always supported me to move ahead. This inspired me to start my own company in this field called "GOPOSITIVE" which will spread awareness and help everyone to get positive results. My main aim and focus is to bring positivity and heal the person so that he/she is able to make the highest and best decision in their difficult time with a positive mind. I am a successful Tarot Card Reader since last 5 years.

Q2. Kindly share some information about your Business, products and services here.

At present, I am a Qualified and Certified Practitioner and Healer at GoPositive. Q3. What kind of challenges did you face while starting/doing business?

I started out in Japan, a country where language is a big barrier. The challenge which I faced is that still a lot of people consider Tarot Card Reading as a fun game. They think it's not serious and some also think we invoke spirits and do some magical work. I faced many challenges, but my self confidence, was always strong. I wanted to create my own identity in this world which was not easy. However, my self confidence and faith in almighty and my own abilities has created my own path to make myself what I am today.

Q4. Do share with our readers about your discovery period when you were facing difficulties in your business?

Getting into a profession of occult science demands great amount of patience, positivity and responsibility. Once people have faith and trust in you, they will take your guidance whenever they feel stuck. I realized that I did make a difference in people's lives. I even realized nothing can be mastered or achieved overnight. It can only be mastered by practice and hard work. The more you practice, the more accurate the results.

Q5. Share with our readers about your experiment period after the discovery period?

Being a professional, marketing was very vital to promote myself and establish my work. I was very confused as how to go about exploring opportunities. Thanks to social networking, it helped me to explore and connect to good people. Always remember that our clients are the first and best way to market yourself. Your good work will spread with word of mouth.

Q6. What are your future plans? Or now what is your vision for next five years?

In the next 5 years I plan to promote all my modalities especially Tarot card reading as an unconventional career option. I am passionate about teaching and I want to teach all my modalities and share my knowledge with everyone so that people can help themselves and live a better life.

Q7. How would you advice/suggest new entrepreneurs who want to start & sustain in business?

I would like to say, "YOUR ONLY LIMIT IS YOU". You can do anything you set your mind to, as long as you are willing to work hard for it. Stay positive and remember to be grateful for experiences and lessons learned along the way. It's a journey. IT'S YOUR JOURNEY.

Farzana Suri - Victory Coach from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Q1. How did your career journey start?

After hanging up my boots, on the heels of a 17-year successful career in advertising and marketing, I launched my own practice, Farzana Suri Victory Coach, 8 years ago.

It wasn’t a planned decision. I was fatigued with the way things were in advertising and couldn’t see a future for myself, anymore. I grappled with this most challenging decision till the Universe nudged me into the direction. I had planned a holiday to Europe when my mentor suggested exploring the science of numbers, numerology. It was fascinating and I applied for a course at a gurukul of S Radhakrishnan in Chennai out of curiosity. Little realising that it would change the trajectory of my life. When I got back, I explored it further and realised I wanted to delve deeper and my analysis was getting sharper and more accurate, by the day. I bid goodbye to the career of selling brands and instead turned towards helping people see the brand in themselves. A couple of years later, I signed up for the relationship coaching program with Robbins & Madanes, the training school of Tony Robbins. There’s been no looking back, since.

Q2. Kindly share some information about your Business, products and services here.

Having overcome many obstacles on my journey to success, I have realised that if you have the power to create your unhappiness, then you also have the power to gain victory over it and create bliss and happiness in your life as well.

As a life coach, I adopt an approach that is unique. My job as a Victory Coach is to empower people to conquer the emotions of fear, self - judgment, insecurity and frustration and morph it into their strength to propel them towards their potential.

Numerology guides me in understanding the client’s personality, leadership and relationship and decision-making abilities and where they are at this point, on the success curve. Based on the analysis, I apply coaching and other techniques to help in the transformational process.

I use the power of coaching to make the mental shifts required to sustain change towards achieving personal and professional goals. In my journey as a Victory Coach, I zealously encourage people to boost their potential and harness the power of their mind.

My approach is straight-from-the-heart, empathetic with solutions that are workable. Importantly, my sessions are not linked to a clock. I leave the session to the energy of my clients. My focus is to guide and help them to step beyond their limitation into a space of ease and joy.

Apart from coaching, I’m passionate about training. I have facilitated over 360 plus workshops and seminars on leadership, personal branding, storytelling, self-empowerment, diversity & inclusion as well as motivational programs. These include programs for various organisations and educational institutes - PVR, Siemens,Hungama, BBC, Google, Turner, Merck, ICICI Bank, HDFC Life, Verve AND DMart to name a few.

Q3. What kind of challenges did you face while starting/doing business?

The first year of moving out of a job and going solo were blissful. There was no commute and no boss to report to. I lived my lifestyle, unabashedly till one day, the savings depleted. My so-called close friends and well-wishers turned away. I have never felt so alone. I suppose they thought I’d ask them for favours or lean on them for help though that was farthest from my mind. However, the pain of losing was too hard to accept. Added to that as a start up, I was not trained to run my own show. I was used to a legacy of a large brand backing me and now I had none. There was a moment in my life when I had nothing but Rs 1300/- odd and a mortgage of Rs 85000/- to pay in three weeks. There was no sign of income coming in. Till an angel offered me an assignment which surpassed my expectations. It was a sign that I’m meant to follow my path. I have never looked back ever since. The support from my family and a few close friends bolstered my beaten soul to rise and keep walking. They are my anchors, my cheerleaders and my best critics who keep me moving in the right direction. This is my path to victory. And, the birth of the Victory Coach.

My goal, as a Victory Coach is to mentor people to focus on the strengths that lie within them. To empower them to see themselves as a victor - not a victim of life, circumstances or any person.

Because, you get one shot at life so why not make it a story where you are the star!

Q4. Do share with our readers about your discovery period when you were facing difficulties in your business?

The biggest challenge was how to promote myself and create a rate card. How to differentiate myself. I have had people who came for appointments and didn’t pay. I have had people who were so appreciative of my work that they are responsible for the clients I serve even today. Interestingly, one such client when my suggestions worked for him, surprised me by coming over with a briefcase filled with notes to reward me!! There was Rs 5lacs in the briefcase. It as tempting to keep it however, I explained to him that he had already paid me my fees and seeing him progress was enough reward. I was happy my coaching made a difference to his life and transformed his outlook for the better and his victory. He thought I was crazy refusing the money! Haha! However, my work is to inspire and infuse an energy that makes people feel they can get past anything. I love what I do. I’m mindful of that. Ethics and confidentiality are paramount for a coach. This was an interesting test and experience for me. My family was initially dumbfounded that I refused but on hindsight they are proud of me. I am so proud of me, too!

Q5. Share with our readers about your experiment period after the discovery period?

I am a Work in Progress. I have had the privilege of working, closely with business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals, corporate executives, media and sports celebrities in the 8 years of launching my practice. I am fortunate to be featured for my thoughts and advice in national and international print and electronic media.

My success story is my 109th Tier referral in my life. What this means is that my first client A was referred by a colleague, who then referred me to her boss, who then referred me to his relative, who referred my services to his client and this trail has moved to the 109th level of referral. I couldn’t be more grateful for their trust in me.

Q6. What is your vision for next five years?

We keep evolving so I am not sure about the next five years however, I do know this: My mission in life is to positively, impact over 100,000 souls by 2021.Nothing warms me more than leaving people better than I found them.

Q7. How would you advise/suggest new entrepreneurs who want to start & sustain in business?

Focus on why do you want to do what you are doing. Do not be obsessed with the money. Money is a means. Look to make a real difference to people’s lives. There will be people who will pull you down or belittle your efforts. Audit them. You will make mistakes and it is okay. Look upon them as lessons.  Lastly, surround yourself with people who inspire and force you to step up. I have been blessed to have some incredible people around me, who induce me to rise above any mediocrity and excel. So, do not play small.

Raquel Trigueros Salinas - The Royal Patisserie - Baker from Birmingham, United Kingdom

Q1. How did your career journey start? Or Who/What inspired you to start this business/ entrepreneurship?

I've grew up among bakers, my mom & grandmother were definitely my inspiration to one day have my own bakery business.

Q2. Kindly share some information about your Business, products and services here.

I always wanted to be able to put smiles on people's face through food, but my passion since I was of very young ago has always been baking, so I thought it would be a great idea to start this online patisserie where I can sell different baked products and on the same time adding a bit of my artistic side to it too.

I bake and decorate all of my products on my own, from baked donuts, cake pops, cupcakes to celebration cakes.

Q3. What kind of challenges did you face while starting/doing business?

The biggest challenge yet has been my mental barriers definitely, my own insecurities, having to be able to get rid of them and push forward trusting my abilities and know I can do it.

Q4. Do share with our readers about your discovery period when you
were facing difficulties in your business?

Definitely being able to remember I still have a private life to enjoy and not only work. I'm a workaholic, I love what I do, and since I am now doing what I've always wanted to do, I struggle with having to put some time for myself and not only work. You need to look after yourself too.

Q5. Share with our readers about your experiment period after the discovery period?

NA

Q6. What are your future plans? Or now what is your vision for next five years?

I would love to have a physical patisserie, I know I will be able to achieve it in the near future.

Q7. How would you advice/suggest new entrepreneurs who want to start & sustain in business?

To go for it, sometimes we want to "plan" everything and we keep on pushing it further and further, and it never happens.

Sometimes the best plan is just do it, go for it, give it a change.

It's your dream, keep it alive.

Riccha Dubey - 3d Casting Artists from Mumbai, India

Q1. How did your career journey start? Or Who/What inspired you to start this business/ entrepreneurship?

Dont really remember how and when it started. I have inherited art from my mum. Since childhood have been doing different kinds of art. But yes professionally established the fact that I want to be an artist around 12 yrs ago, when I conceived my baby and decided to do his 3d castings, and later my passion for art and love for kids, I decided to do this professionally.

Q2. Kindly share some information about your Business, products and services here.

I am into 3d casting for kids, couple hands, faces, pregnant bellies, cold casting in metal for the same, resin casts, resin paintings, resin sculptures, resin jewelry and a lot more. Since my creative mind is never at rest, I keep coming up with new products every now and then.

Q3. What kind of challenges did you face while starting/doing business?

Well honestly my biggest challenge was selling something that people had never heard of, something which was expensive, something people didn't feel the need for and also to someone (new parents) who didn't have to time to be online and were unreachable otherwise. My other challenge was nobody in my family comes from a business background, so there was absolutely no knowledge abt how to go ahead, thankfully I had full support of my family.

Q4. Do share with our readers about your discovery period when you were facing difficulties in your business?

I never saw anything as a difficulty, it always only felt like a challenge or a situation which i had to cross. I have been a stubborn personality since childhood, and thankfully my parents always guided me to chanellize my attitude to achieve my aims. So whenever i did face a situation i took it up as a challenge and did overcome it. I always had my focus on what lies beyond the situation and that kept me motivated.

Q5. Share with our readers about your experiment period after the discovery period?

Well, as a creative person, my experiment period is still on. I never stop experimenting. I start feeling uncomfortable being in comfort zone for too long. Like.. about the time when I achieved miniature castings, I was the first one in India to be able to do that. As far as I remember that was the longest i stayed in my comfort zone after i achieved that. And then my quest for new waters started again. So technically I am still in my experiment zone.

Q6. What are your future plans? Or now what is your vision for next five years?

Being an artist, my thinking cap is always directed to my field. I want to open an academy where I can train artists to do what they can do best and to teach them all that I know. Also if possible I would love to ignite that fire within them, which does not let you rest... that craving to do something more...

Q7. How would you advice/suggest new entrepreneurs who want to start & sustain in business?

See the silver lining. In every situation that you face, it's important to stay positive and to be able to see what lies beyond it. Once you are able to focus and stay positive in your attitude, then there's no stopping you.
